Northwest Argentina: Chaco, Andes and Altiplano
Northwestern Argentina has a great diversity of habitats and birds and, even at high elevations in the puna, birds are numerous. On a late afternoon excursion near Salta, on the day of our arrival, we were able to find both Huayco Tinamou and Darwin's Nothura.
